### 🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Kessler Mountain Jam Postponed to July 19, 2026 🚨

New Date: July 19, 2026

To our racing community and AMBCS competitors:

We are incredibly bummed to deliver this news, but tomorrow’s **Kessler Mountain Jam (Sunday, June 28th) is officially being postponed to July 19, 2026.**  While we were highly optimistic about the weekend forecast, the severe accumulation of rain over the past few weeks has left the ground fully saturated. To make matters worse, an unexpected, heavy cell popped up this morning and dumped even more water directly onto the mountain. Mother Nature did not like our rain dance I guess!

After assessing the trails this morning, the saturated soil simply cannot handle race traffic without causing severe, long-term damage to the singletrack, nor can we guarantee a safe racing environment for our riders.  Kessler is a special place, and protecting these trails—and your safety—has to come first.

***Your Registration:** All current registrations will automatically transfer directly over to the new date.  If you can't make the new date, then your entry can be rolled to next year's KMJ or Iron Mtn XC.  You can even apply your entry to the Chinkapin Hollow Gravel Grinder on Nov 7, 2026.

We want to send a massive thank you to the OORC trail crews and volunteers who worked hard to try and get the course ready this week. Mother Nature just had other plans last night.

Please help us spread the word. Stay safe, stay dry, and we will see you on the dirt soon!
